In 2005 Lord Norman Foster of FOSTER + PARTNERS was appointed to design the series of 41 - meter, ocean-going yachts for YachtPlus. By the completion date in 2009 Ocean Emerald, Ocean Pearl and Ocean Sapphire had been built and fitted out in the shipyard of Rodriquez.
By 2015 MY Ocean Emerald arrived in Singapore before sailing onto her future home in Langkawi, Malaysia. In the same year we were first introduced to Nigel Plasket the owner of Ocean Emerald and were commissioned to create the first portfolio of images in that year and again in 2020 after the current renovation was completed.
